Application Process

Initial inspection and analysis of soil and project design are required due to variability of soil, climate and road usage conditions. Our engineering staff provide close technical assistance.

Application

During application the enzymes act upon the soil’s organic fines through a catalytic bonding process, promoting certain chemical and physical reactions to produce a strong cementation effect. Typically, and after optimum compaction is completed, the bonding process will be sufficiently cured within 72 hours.

Since TERRAZYME interacts with a wide variety of soil materials, maximum use can be made of existing soils, thus minimizing the need to haul in additional materials at high additional costs.

The product is both safe and convenient to handle and store. It is highly concentrated and carries the ISO90001 mark of quality approval.

Application Ratio: One-liter TERRAZYME concentrate per 30 cubic meters of soil to be diluted and mixed into compaction water on site. Please note that the special characteristic of the product ensures better penetration with the advantage of saving up to 25 % on compaction water for OMC.

Application Stages

1. Loosen soil with Grader or Rotovator

2. Humidify soil using TerraZyme mixed with Water

3. Mix treated soil to uniformity

4. Compact treated road surface near optimum humidity

Terrazyme Application Requires Standard Equipment

  • Tractor with Rotovator or disc
  • Water truck with separate water pump
  • “Sheepsloot” compactor/vibrator
  • Smooth drum or pneumatic roller (15 – 20 tons)
